Title: Transmitting a bill authorizing the Commissioner of Public Property, on behalf of the City of Philadelphia, to acquire, from the Philadelphia Authority for Industrial Development ("PAID"), a strip of land along the Schuylkill River that is approximately 100 feet wide (the "Property"), between 56th Street (as extended to the Schuylkill River) and 58th Street, substantially as described in Exhibit A to this Ordinance. Upon title to the Property vesting in the City, the Property shall, by operation of this Section 2, be incorporated into Schuylkill River Park, and shall likewise be a part of the Fairmount Park System, consistent with Section 15-201 of The Philadelphia Code. The City Solicitor is hereby authorized to impose such terms and conditions on the transaction authorized by this Ordinance as the City Solictor deems necessary and property to protect the interests fo the City, and to carry out the puposes of this Ordinance.
