WHEREAS, The Philadelphia Redevelopment Authority (hereinafter "Redevelopment Authority") has prepared and submitted an urban renewal plan and a redevelopment proposal for the redevelopment of the New Kensington-Fishtown Urban Renewal Area (hereinafter "New Kensington-Fishtown"), which said plan and proposal were approved by Ordinance of the Council on June 13, 1997, as amended; and

WHEREAS, The Redevelopment Authority has prepared a redevelopment contract for a portion of New Kensington-Fishtown, identified by house number and street address as 2026-2028 Martha street (the "Property"). The area of the Property is bounded as follows:

ALL THAT CERTAIN lot or piece of ground situated in the Thirty-first Ward of the City of Philadelphia beginning at a point on the northwesterly side of Martha street (forty feet wide) at the distance of one hundred eighty-seven feet one and seven-eighths inches southwestward from the southwesterly side of Abigail street (twenty feet wide); Thence extending in a northwesterly direction along a line at right angles to said Martha street fifty-two feet four inches to a point; Thence extending in a southwesterly direction along a line parallel to said Martha street fifteen feet nine inches to a point; Thence extending in a northwesterly direction along a line at right angles to said Martha street seven feet eight inches to a point; Thence extending in a southwesterly direction along a line parallel to said Martha street eighteen feet to a po...
