Title
To amend the Institutional Development District Master Plan of the University of Pennsylvania, 3801-3803 Locust Walk for the construction of the Perry World House Building.
 
Body
THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PHILADELPHIA HEREBY ORDAINS:
 
SECTION 1.      Pursuant to Section 14-304(4) of The Philadelphia Code, The Institutional Development District Master Plan of the University of Pennsylvania is hereby amended by allowing for the construction of a new building consisting of lecture space, a class room, flex space, a café, a conference room and 14 offices. The building will be comprised of approximately 17,393 gross square feet of floor area, as set forth in attached Exhibit “C”, which is on file with the Chief Clerk's Office and a copy of which is attached hereto for reference.
 
SECTION 2.      In accordance with Title 17, Section 1600 of the City of Philadelphia Code, a statement of Diversity Practices and an Economic Opportunity Plan for the project are attached as Exhibits “A” and “B”, respectively, and are on file with the Chief Clerk's Office.
 
 
SECTION 3.      This Ordinance shall take effect immediately.
