Title
Amending Section 9-204 of The Philadelphia Code, entitled "Sidewalk Vendors in Center City," by eliminating previously designated vendor locations in Center City; all under certain terms and conditions.

THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PHILADELPHIA HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION 1. Section 9-204 of The Philadelphia Code is hereby amended to read as follows:

(8) Vending Locations.
(a) Vending is not permitted except in specifically designated locations. The following vendor locations are hereby designated as locations from which vending shall be permitted, provided Council shall not ever designate more than 300 such locations in all of Center City:

[(b) No blockface at the following locations shall be designated as a location at which vending shall be permitted:
(.1) Sidewalks abutting Washington square;
(.2) Sidewalks abutting Rittenhouse square;
(.3) South street, from Broad street to the Delaware River;
(.4) Market street, from Fourth street to City Hall;
(.5) Walnut street, from Twenty-fourth street to Broad street;
(.6) Chestnut street, from Twenty-fourth street to Columbus boulevard;
(.7) Vine street, from the Delaware River to Eighteenth street;
(.8) Broad street, from Vine street to Pine street;
(.9) 12th street from Chancellor street to Walnut street; and
(.10) 8th street, from Chestnut street to Ranstead street.
