Title
To amend the Institutional Development District Master Plan of the University of Pennsylvania, by allowing for the complete renovation of the Mellon Building located at 3457-59 Walnut Street.
 
Body
THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PHILADELPHIA HEREBY ORDAINS:
 
SECTION 1.  Pursuant to Section 14-304(4) of The Philadelphia Code, The Institutional Development District Master Plan of the University of Pennsylvania is hereby amended by allowing for the complete renovation of the Mellon Building and two additions which will increase the gross floor area by approximately 51,442 square feet, to be used  as a single cohesive academic center, as set forth in attached Exhibit “A”, which is on file with the Chief Clerk's Office, and a copy of which is attached hereto for reference.
 
SECTION 2.  This Ordinance shall take effect immediately.
