THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PHILADELPHIA HEREBY ORDAINS:

SECTION 1.  Title 14 of The Philadelphia Code is hereby amended to read as follows:

TITLE 14. ZONING AND PLANNING

CHAPTER 14-500. OVERLAY ZONING DISTRICTS.

§ 14-503.  /NCA, Neighborhood Commercial Area Overlay.

(8)  North Delaware Avenue.

(a)  Applicability.

The requirement of this North Delaware Avenue /NCA Overlay district apply to the area bounded by Spring Garden Street, the Delaware River, Lehigh Avenue, Frankford Avenue, Girard Avenue, and 5^th Street[, except the district shall exclude the area bounded by Laurel Street, Frankford Avenue, and the east side of I-95,] as shown on the following North Delaware Avenue map for illustrative purposes only.  The following areas shall not be bound by the provisions of the North Delaware Avenue overlay:

(.a)  the area bounded by Laurel Street, Frankford Avenue, and the east side of I-95; and,

(.b)  the area bounded by east Columbia Avenue (extended), Beach Street, east Berks Street (extended), and the Delaware River.

SECTION 2.  This Ordinance shall become effective immediately.
