WHEREAS, The Philadelphia Redevelopment Authority (hereinafter "Redevelopment Authority") has prepared and submitted an urban renewal plan and a redevelopment proposal for the redevelopment of the New Kensington-Fishtown Urban Renewal Area (hereinafter "New Kensington-Fishtown"), which said plan and proposal were approved by Ordinance of the Council on June 13, 1997, as amended; and

WHEREAS, The Redevelopment Authority has prepared a redevelopment contract for a portion of New Kensington-Fishtown, identified by house number and street address as 8 East Palmer street (the "Property"). The area of the Property is bounded as follows:

ALL THAT CERTAIN lot or piece of ground situated in the Eighteenth Ward of the City of Philadelphia situate at the intersection formed by the southwesterly side of Palmer street (fifty feet wide) and the westerly side of Blair street (thirty-nine feet six inches wide); Thence extending southwestward along the westerly side of the said Blair street seventy-six feet nine inches to a point; Thence extending westward fifty-five feet five inches to a point; Thence extending northeastward on a line at right angles to the said Palmer street ninety-two feet three one-eighths inches to a point on the southwesterly side of said Palmer street; Thence extending eastward along the southwesterly side of said Palmer street twenty-one feet three and three-quarters to the first mentioned point and place of beginning.
