Honoring the Saint Hubert High School Cheerleading Teams on a Season of Success Culminating in JV Winning the National Championship and Varsity Winning the PIAA State Championship.

WHEREAS, The National High School Cheerleading Championship (NHSCC) is held at the Walt Disney World Resort in Orlando, Florida and is televised on ESPN and ESPN 2 to more than 100 million homes and 32 countries annually; and
WHEREAS, In order to get to Nationals and States, St. Hubert's had to overcome many obstacles, including fundraising a large amount of money to attend the event and replacing injured cheerleaders; and
WHEREAS, To prepare for their routines, the teams spend countless hours training and practicing year round. In addition to practicing, the cheerleaders participate in charity events and cheer the St. Hubert basketball games; and
WHEREAS, During the competition, the squad performs a two-and-a-half-minute routine packed with stunts, pyramids, elite tumbling skills, cheers and dance. These routines take a tremendous amount of endurance, strength and stamina; and
WHEREAS, The St. Hubert Cheerleading Program includes three teams with a total of seventy-one cheerleaders; and
WHEREAS, The head coach of the team is Lisa McNesby and she is assisted by Paul Ballentine, Mary Kate McKnight, and Kristen Mahon; and
WHEREAS, The JV Brown Team is coached by Erin and Kelly McShea, Caitlyn Insetta, Jackie Seveland, Kristen Bieringer and Lauren Fong; and
WHEREAS, The JV Gold Team is coached by Mary-Kate Matozzo, Gina and Christa Mansi, Chelsea Kerrigan, Kristine Lemongelli and Kristen Sheeron; and
WHEREAS, This is the fourteenth year that Saint Hubert Cheerleading has been to the NHSCC and the JV Brown Team, after winning the UCA Regional Championship, won the National Championship in the Large Junior Varsity Division, bringing home for the Bambies the fifth National Championship in Cheerleading; and
