THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PHILADELPHIA HEREBY ORDAINS:

SECTION 1. Permission is hereby granted Alanna Kelly to own and maintain an existing building encroachment and a proposed building encroachment at 1332 Reed Street, Philadelphia, PA 19147 as follows:

Encroachment Description:


Existing Bay

An existing bay located along the 1332 Reed Street west building line from a point approximately fourteen feet nine inches (14'-9") south of the 1332 Reed Street north building line to a point approximate seven feet ten inches (7'-10") farther south, projecting from the building approximately three feet eleven inches (3'-11") over the west footway of Watts Street. The bay is not to have a lower edge less than twelve feet one inch (12'-1") above finished grade.

Proposed Bay

A bay located along the 1332 Reed Street west building line from a point approximately fourteen feet nine inches (14'-9") south of the 1332 Reed Street north building line to a point approximate seven feet ten inches (7'-10") farther south, projecting from the building approximately three feet eleven inches (3'-11") over the west footway of Watts Street. The bay is not to have a lower edge less than twenty-two feet eleven inches (22'-11") above finished grade nor an upper limit greater than thirty-one feet seven inches (31' - 7") above finished grade.


SECTION 2. The use and maintenance of the Encroachment described and listed in Section 1 shall be in accordance with the laws, rules and regulations of the City of Philadelphia, and specifically those of the Department of Licenses and Inspections, the Department of Streets, and the Art Commission, provided that the Department of Streets, in its sole, unreviewable discretion, may allow minor variations of the dimension limits of Section 1, within standard tolerances of current engineering ...
