WHEREAS, The Philadelphia Redevelopment Authority (hereinafter "Redevelopment Authority") has prepared and submitted an urban renewal plan and a redevelopment proposal for the redevelopment of the Whitman Urban Renewal Area (hereinafter "Whitman"), which said plan and proposal were approved by Ordinance of the Council on September 2, 1964, as amended; and

WHEREAS, The Redevelopment Authority has prepared a redevelopment contract for a portion of Whitman, identified by house number and street address as 2432 South Lee street (the "Property"). The area of the Property is bounded as follows:

2432 South Lee street.

ALL THAT CERTAIN lot or piece of ground with the buildings and appurtenances thereto, if any, situate on the west side of Lee street two hundred and twenty-eight feet, six inches southward from the south side of Ritner street; Thence extending westward on a line parallel with Ritner street fifty feet to a certain three feet wide alley; Thence extending southward along said three feet wide alley fourteen feet, two and one-quarter inches to a point; Thence extending eastward on a line parallel with Ritner street thirteen feet to a bend; Thence extending further eastward on a line forming an angle of ninety degrees, nineteen minutes, thirty seconds to the said Lee street thirty-seven feet to the said westerly side of Lee street; Thence extending northward along the said west side of Lee street fourteen feet, four and three-quarter inches to a point and place of beginning.
