THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PHILADELPHIA HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION 1. Chapter 19-1800 of The Philadelphia Code is hereby amended as follows:
CHAPTER 19-1800. SCHOOL TAX AUTHORIZATION
§ 19-1801. Authorization of Tax.
(1) The Board of Education of The School District of Philadelphia is authorized to impose an annual tax for school district purposes on real estate within the City of Philadelphia for the years 1964 through [2018] 2021 and thereafter.

(3) For tax year 2014 and thereafter:

(a.2) For tax [year] years 2016 [and thereafter] through 2020, the Tax Rate shall be 0.7681%, or seventy-six and eighty-one hundredths cents per one hundred dollars ($100) of Net Taxable Value.
(a.3) For tax year 2021 and thereafter, the Tax Rate shall be 0.8234%, or eighty-two and thirty-four hundredths cents, per one hundred dollars ($100) of Net Taxable Value.
