THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PHILADELPHIA HEREBY ORDAINS:

 

SECTION 1. Title 21 of The Philadelphia Code is hereby amended to read as follows:

CHAPTER 21-1500. BOARDS AND COMMISSIONS - PUBLIC DELIBERATIONS

§ 21-1503. Recording and Distribution.

 

(1) All Boards and Commissions shall make an electronic recording or prepare a transcript of any meeting that is otherwise open to the public pursuant to the Sunshine Act, 65 P.S. §§ 701, et seq.

 

(2) Electronic recordings and transcripts of Board or Commission meetings shall promptly be made available to the public within 10 days, without charge, on a City website associated with the Board or Commission, as well as via other means in accordance with the provisions of the Pennsylvania Right-to-Know Law, 65 P.S. § 67.101, et seq.

SECTION 2. This Ordinance shall be effective on February 1, 2021.
