Body
WHEREAS, Chellie Cameron is a longtime leader in the City of Philadelphia's Division of Aviation, which comprises Philadelphia International Airport and Northeast Philadelphia Airport. She joined the leadership team in 2011, after 13 years with the Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority, and was named CEO in 2017. In that role, she leads one of the busiest airports in the country, accounting for billions of dollars in economic activity and nearly 100,000 jobs; and

WHEREAS, Ms. Cameron has since been honored with the Most Admired CEO Award by the Philadelphia Business Journal; and

WHEREAS, Chellie Cameron is also active as a civic and industry leader. She serves on the boards of directors for the U.S. Travel Association, the Philadelphia Convention and Visitors Bureau, the World Trade Center of Greater Philadelphia, and the Global Philadelphia Association. In addition, Ms. Cameron serves on the Federal Reserve Bank of Philadelphia's Economic and Community Advisory Council; and

WHEREAS, Last year, Ms. Cameron was also honored with an appointment to Regional Advisor of the Airports Council International (ACI) and the World Governing Board (WGB). She has been active with those bodies for a number of years, in service of her passion for airports' potential to connect communities with the world, grow local economies, and foster a more diverse and inclusive workforce; and

WHEREAS, In recognition of her leadership within the industry, Ms. Cameron has been elected to serve as chair of the U.S. Policy Council for Airports Council International - North America in 2021. As chair of the U.S Policy Council, Cameron is in charge of building consensus among her peers and vocalizing priorities to the White House, Capitol Hill and the aviation industry; and
