Title

To amend the Master Plan for the University of Pennsylvania by areas of land located within an area bounded by Guardian Drive, East Service Drive, Civic Center Boulevard, 34th Street, 33rd Street, Walnut Street, the Schuylkill River, 34th Street, and University Avenue.

 

Body

THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PHILADELPHIA HEREBY ORDAINS:

 

SECTION 1.  Pursuant to Section 14-304(4) of The Philadelphia Code, Institutional (Special Purpose) District for the University of Pennsylvania is hereby amended, as set forth in attached Exhibit “A”, which is on file with the Chief Clerk’s Office, and a copy of which is attached hereto for reference.

 

SECTION 2.  This Ordinance shall become effective immediately.

 

 

 

 

EXHIBIT “A”

The University of Pennsylvania, Master Plan SP-INS Amendment adds 98,386 sf of gross floor area, and 8,445 sf of occupied area from the addition of proposed Building “23” in the corresponding Block “E”.

The University of Pennsylvania, Master Plan SP-INS Amendment incorporates 43,150 sf of total area into the Master Plan; and from the addition of the existing Building “11” in the corresponding Block “S”, adds 25,722 sf of gross floor area, and 12,861 sf of occupied area.

The University of Pennsylvania, Master Plan SP-INS Amendment subtracts 1,493 sf of gross floor area from the Master Plan due to a miscalculation of the previously approved Building 6 and 7 in the corresponding Block “F”.
