Title
Amending Title 14 of The Philadelphia Code, entitled "Zoning and Planning," to provide for a height allowance for certain solar collectors; all under terms and conditions.

THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PHILADELPHIA HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION 1. Title 4 of The Philadelphia Code is hereby amended to read as follows:

(*) Roof-mounted solar collector system.
A system that incorporates solar collectors, apparatuses that affix the system to a roof, and associated photovoltaic-related equipment.
(*) Solar collector.
A device used to convert solar radiation into electricity.
(*) Solar collector support structure.
A supplemental structure that hosts solar collectors with the purpose of sufficiently elevating the system above the surface of the roof to maintain the function of the area beneath the system.
