230023 0  COMMUNICATIONJanuary 10, 2023 TO THE PRESIDENT AND MEMBERS OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PHILADELPHIA: I am hereby returning without my signature Bill Number 220322-AAA, which was introduced into City Council by Councilmember Gauthier on April 7, 2022. Bill Number 220322-AAA adds criteria for evaluating non-competitive dispositions of "Surplus Properties." While my Administration shares the Sponsors commitment to affordable housing and food access uses on public land, this legislation does not provide anything beyond what is already available through existing legislation and the disposition policy. Furthermore, the additional requirements prescribed by this legislation make it onerous for existing Nonprofits. For these reasons, I am returning without my signature, Bill No. 220322-AAA. Respectfully. James F. Kenney MayorREAD AND FILED   Action details Not available
