The Joint Committees on Legislative Oversight and Transportation & Public Utilities of  
the Council of the City of Philadelphia will hold a Public Hearing on Tuesday, May 12,  
2026, at 1:00 PM, in Room 400, City Hall, to hear testimony on the following items:  
Resolution Authorizing the Committee on Legislative Oversight and the Committee on  
Transportation and Public Utilities to hold joint hearings to investigate the rising costs  
of energy bills, what is driving those increases, and what the City can and can’t do to  
address why our energy bills are so high.
