Public Hearing Notice
The Committee on Commerce & Economic Development of the Council of the City of Philadelphia will
hold a Public Hearing on Wednesday, March 18, 2026, at 10:00 AM, in Room 400, City Hall, to hear
testimony on the following items:
Resolution authorizing the Committee on Commerce and Economic Development to
hold hearings to assess the City of Philadelphia’s workforce development efforts and
existing barriers to employment, and to evaluate job creation and workforce
development as strategies to eliminate poverty for Philadelphians.
Immediately following the public hearing, a meeting of the Committee on Commerce & Economic
Development, open to the public, will be held to consider the action to be taken on the above listed items.
Copies of the foregoing items are available in the Office of the Chief Clerk of the Council, Room 402, City
Hall.
