THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PHILADELPHIA HEREBY ORDAINS:

SECTION 1. Pursuant to Section 11-404 of The Philadelphia Code, the Board of Surveyors of the Department of Streets is hereby authorized to revise the lines and grades on a portion of City Plan Nos. 63 and 67 by:
(a) Relocating the northeasterly curbline of the Benjamin Franklin Parkway, from Twenty-First Street to a point approximately seven-hundred feet northwest of Twenty-Second Street, two feet southwestwardly, thereby widening the northeasterly footway of the Benjamin Franklin Parkway from fifteen feet to seventeen feet.
(b) Relocating the southwesterly curbline of the Benjamin Franklin Parkway, from Twenty-First Street to a point approximately nine-hundred feet northwest of Twenty-Second Street, two feet northeastwardly, thereby widening the southwesterly footway of the Benjamin Franklin Parkway from fifteen feet to seventeen feet.
(c) Relocating portions of the curblines of Twenty-First Street and Twenty-Second Street at and near their intersections with the Benjamin Franklin Parkway to establish certain curb bump-outs and modify certain traffic islands for the purposes of improving the safety of pedestrians and improving traffic flow.
